Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Anti-aging
Beta-carotene
A potent and important antioxidant, vitamin A has been found to destroy carcinogens and protect against many forms of cancer.
Vitamin A counteracts night blindness and weak eyesight and generally helps in treatments of eye disorders. It helps the immune system function properly, shortens the duration of diseases and builds resistance to respiratory diseases. Vitamin A promotes growth and healthy skin, teeth, gums, hair and strong bones. It cab also prevent acne and remove superficial wrinkles.
Because vitamin A is fat soluble, it requires fats as well as minerals to be absorbed by the digestive tract. It can, however, be stored in your body and does not require an intake every day.
Probably the best source of vitamin A is beta-carotene, as it does not have the toxicity potential that pure vitamin A has in large doses, and also has additional properties as an antioxidant.
